Availability
Jessica Ellis is available for freelance tailoring and garment support bookings up to 4 days per week, subject to availability.
Weekend bookings may also be available — please enquire via email.
Additional or longer-term freelance support may be accommodated depending on scheduling.
Standard freelance day rate: £150 per day.
A standard freelance working day is based on approximately 7.5 working hours excluding breaks.
Bookings of 3 consecutive days are offered at a reduced rate of £400.
Bookings of 4 consecutive days are offered at a reduced rate of £550.
Weekend bookings may be subject to an additional £20 charge.
PAYMENT TERMS
Payments are accepted via bank transfer.

For bookings of 3 days or less, payment must be made either at the end of the agreed booking day or within 7 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
For bookings of 4 days or more, payment must be made either at the end of the agreed booking period or within 14 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Upon cancellation of a confirmed booking, cancellation fees may apply as follows:
• 24 hours or less notice — Full booked fee
• 48 hours or less notice — 50% of booked fee
• More than 48 hours notice — No cancellation fee
For longer-term freelance support or recurring bookings, cancellation terms may vary depending on the agreed booking schedule and will be discussed prior to confirmation.
A complimentary 1.5 hour practical trial session may be offered to new freelance clients subject to prior agreement and availability.
Trial sessions are intended to assess tailoring workflow, working compatibility, and job requirements between both parties.
Any additional working time beyond the agreed 1.5 hour trial period must be discussed and agreed beforehand and may become chargeable at the standard freelance rate.
Chana Studio reserves the right to decline unpaid trial requests where travel requirements, workload expectations, or booking demands are considered unreasonable.
