BOOKING AGREEMENT

Once a booking has been confirmed and/or agreed to via email, telephone, SMS or WhatsApp, a contractual agreement is considered to have been formed.

AVAILABILITY

Jessica Ellis is currently available for freelance tailoring and garment support bookings up to 4 days per week, subject to availability and workload requirements.

Additional days may be available depending on scheduling.

DAY RATES

Standard freelance day rate: £120 per day.

A standard freelance working day is based on approximately 7.5 working hours excluding breaks.

Bookings of 3 consecutive days are offered at a reduced rate of £320.

Bookings of 4 consecutive days are offered at a reduced rate of £430.

Weekend bookings may be subject to an additional £20 charge.

Manchester bookings may require an additional travel fee of £60 depending on location and booking duration.

TRIAL BOOKINGS

A complimentary 2.5-hour practical trial session may be offered to new freelance clients subject to prior agreement and availability.

Trial sessions are intended to assess tailoring workflow, working compatibility, and job requirements between both parties.

Any additional working time beyond the agreed 2.5-hour trial period must be discussed and agreed beforehand and may become chargeable at the standard freelance rate.

Chana Studio reserves the right to decline unpaid trial requests where travel requirements, workload expectations, or booking demands are considered unreasonable.

PAYMENT TERMS

Payments are accepted as cash and bank transfer only.

Please contact Jessica Ellis directly via email or mobile number to request invoice and bank transfer details.

For bookings of 2 days or less, payment must be made either at the end of the agreed booking day or within 7 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

For bookings of 3 days or more, payment terms are 14 days from the end of the agreed booking period unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Late payments may incur additional charges of £25 per week where invoices remain unpaid beyond 3 days after the invoice due date.

Jessica Ellis, reserves the right to pause future bookings or services until outstanding balances have been cleared.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Upon cancellation of a confirmed booking, cancellation fees may apply as follows:

• 24 hours or less notice — Full booked fee  
• 48 hours or less notice — 50% of booked fee  
• More than 48 hours notice — No cancellation fee

WORKING CONDITIONS

Clients are responsible for providing a safe and suitable working environment, including appropriate workspace, garment access, lighting, and clear alteration instructions where required.

QUALITY & LIABILITY

All work will be completed professionally and with reasonable care and attention.

Chana Studio is not responsible for pre-existing garment weaknesses, delicate fabrics, wear and tear, or damage caused by unstable materials during the alteration process.

RIGHT TO REFUSE WORK

Chana Studio reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services where working conditions, communication, behaviour, safety, or expectations are considered unreasonable or inappropriate.
